Building Momentum for Better Healing
Acupuncture works best when treatments build on each other.
Most conditions—like pain, stress, fertility, digestion, or insomnia—develop over time, so the body also needs time to rebalance.
Regular sessions (especially in the beginning) help your body hold the changes longer.
As symptoms improve, we gradually space out visits until you reach a comfortable maintenance rhythm.
The goal is not quick fixes — it’s helping your body create steady, lasting change.
Before Your Treatment
A few simple steps help you get the most out of your treatment:
Eat lightly 1–2 hours before your appointment.
Avoid caffeine or alcohol right before your session.
Wear or bring socks — Our office is a shoe-free environment to maintain a clean, relaxing, and hygienic treatment space
Stay hydrated.
Come with a list of concerns so we can tailor your treatment.
If this is your first visit, please complete the consent and HIPAA forms beforehand.
After Your Treatment
Your body continues adjusting even after you leave the clinic. To support recovery:
Drink water and rest when possible.
Avoid strenuous exercise for several hours.
You may feel sleepy, relaxed, or energized — all are normal responses.
Avoid alcohol immediately after the session.
Notice changes in pain, digestion, mood, or sleep — this helps guide your next treatment.
Mild soreness after cupping or gua sha is normal and temporary.
